Our Manufacturing Process

Your Window & Door Manufacturing Journey

Manufactured in Telford Since 1982

Before our installation team arrives at your home, your windows and doors begin their journey at our factory in Halesfield, Telford.

Unlike many companies who simply purchase finished products from a third party, we manufacture our own uPVC windows, doors and related products in-house. This allows us to maintain strict quality control, ensure consistency across every order and provide products that are made specifically for your home.

From the moment your order is approved through to final inspection, every stage is carefully managed by our experienced team.

Step 1: Survey Information & Order Processing

Once your survey has been completed, the measurements and specifications are returned to our office team for processing.

Every detail is checked, including product style, colour, glazing options, hardware selections and any bespoke requirements. This ensures the information entering production is accurate and ready for manufacture.

At this stage, your products are planned specifically for your property, ensuring every item is manufactured to the agreed specification.

Step 2: Technical Review & Production Planning

Before manufacturing begins, our team carries out a detailed technical review of your order.

Dimensions, structural requirements, glass specifications and hardware selections are checked to ensure all elements of the order work together correctly. This process helps eliminate errors and ensures production runs smoothly from start to finish.

Only once these checks have been completed is the order released to the factory floor.

Step 3: Materials Selection

Your order is allocated the correct materials ready for manufacture.

We work with trusted industry suppliers to source high-quality profiles, glazing, hardware and accessories that meet our standards for performance, durability and security. By maintaining long-standing relationships with our suppliers, we can ensure consistency across every product we manufacture.

Each component is selected specifically for your order before production begins.

Step 4: Precision Cutting

Once materials have been allocated, the profiles are cut to the exact dimensions required for your property.

Accuracy is critical at this stage, as precise cuts help ensure every frame operates correctly and provides a professional finish once installed. Our specialist machinery allows us to achieve consistent accuracy throughout production.

This stage lays the foundation for a high-quality finished product.

Step 5: Frame Fabrication & Welding

The individual frame components are assembled and welded together to form the structure of your window or door.

Using specialist machinery, corners are fused together to create strong and durable joints designed to withstand years of daily use and exposure to the British weather.

At this stage, your product begins to take its final shape.

Step 6: Corner Cleaning & Finishing

Following welding, each frame moves to the finishing stage.

The welded corners are carefully cleaned and refined to remove excess material and create a neat, professional finish. Attention to detail during this stage helps ensure the finished product not only performs well but also looks excellent.

Every frame is visually checked before moving to the next stage.

Step 7: Hardware & Security Components

Handles, locks, hinges, operating mechanisms and trickle vents are fitted according to the product specification.

Security and reliability are a key consideration throughout manufacture. All hardware is installed carefully and checked to ensure smooth operation and correct functionality.

This stage brings together the features that homeowners interact with every day.

Step 8: Glazing Preparation

Glass units are prepared, inspected and matched with the correct frames.

We use high-performance glazing designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce heat loss and enhance comfort within the home. Each unit is checked for quality before being installed into the finished frame.

Step 9: Final Assembly

Frames, hardware, glazing and accessories are brought together to form the completed product ready for inspection. Operational checks are carried out to ensure windows and doors open, close and lock correctly.

The finished product now closely resembles what will ultimately be installed in your home.

Step 10: Quality Inspection

Before any product leaves our factory, it undergoes a thorough quality inspection.
Our team checks:

  • Product dimensions and specifications
  • Frame finish and appearance
  • Operation of hinges, locks and hardware
  • Glass quality and condition
  • Overall functionality and performance

Quality checks take place throughout the manufacturing process, but this final inspection provides one last assessment before products are approved for installation.

Step 11: Packing & Delivery Preparation

Following approval, products are carefully prepared for transport.

Frames and glass are handled with care to help ensure they arrive at the installation location in the same condition they left the factory. Products are organised according to installation schedules, helping our fitting teams work efficiently on site.

Step 12: Ready for Installation

Your products are now ready to leave our factory and begin the next stage of their journey.

Having been manufactured, assembled and inspected by our experienced team, they are passed to our installation department ready for fitting at your property.

From here, our installers will take over and guide you through the installation process.
